The article presents information about several books. The book "Aspects of Science," by J.W.N. Sullivan consists of a number of very brief, journalistic essays on the theory of relativity, mathematics, the structure of the atom, psychoanalysis, etc. The attempt to popularize technical works is here brought to its perfect reductio ad absurdum. The book "Issues of European Statesmanship," by B. G. de Montgomery discusses rights and duties of the modern state, and major problems of foreign policy at the present time.
