The article presents information about the book "The Myth of the Individual," by Charles W. Wood. Wood is a journalist who is ever seeking news from Nowhere. It is his enthusiastic belief that here and now the people in the U.S. have the means of realizing the greatest hopes of mankind, if they but understood the real nature of that machine industry which they have developed so marvelously. According to Mr. Wood, the machine was turned from its true purpose by the capitalist who saw in it merely a method of creating large profits. For the very nature of the machine is to produce abundantly.
