The article presents brief information on some books. These include "Read `Em and Weep. The Songs You Forgot to Remember," by Sigmund Spaeth, "Amy Lowell: A Critical Study," by Clement Wood, "The Life and Times of Martha Hepplethwaite," by Frank Sullivan and "The Story of the Inns of Court," by D. Plunkett Barton, Charles Benham and Francis Watt. The book "Read `Em and Weep. The Songs You Forgot to Remember," is a valuable collection, with both words and music, of the most grotesque of classical favorites at the piano or in the music hall. The first is "Yankee Doodle" and the last is "The Curse of an Aching Heart" and in between come many songs, which one supposed one would never see in print.
