The article presents some socio-economic and political updates. One of the updates highlights that comparing 1925 with 1913 these figures show that whereas Europe's production of foodstuffs and raw materials has increased less than 5 per cent, her foreign trade has fallen by 6 per cent, while Asia's production has gained 20 per cent and her trade 36 per cent and North America has gained 26 per cent in production and 37 per cent in foreign trade. This represent decline of Europe after World War I. Another update focuses on the letter written by U.S. Secretary of War Dwight F. Davis to John Nevin Sayre, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Militarism in Education.
