This article presents information about political developments in the U.S. as of May 29, 1929. President Herbert Hoover's Commission on the enforcement of law is good, on the whole, so far as the character of the individual members goes, but people are surprised that with only one exception--its sole woman member--it is exclusively a group of lawyers and judges.
