The article focuses on three books based on marriage, "The Doctor Looks at Marriage and Medicine," by Joseph Collins, "The Bankruptcy of Marriage," by V.F. Calverton, and "Family Life To-Day," edited by Margaret E. Rich. Joseph Collins--the doctor who has looked at literature, love, life, biography, and doctors--joined during the past publishing season ten other people in looking at the institution of marriage. He can't be expected, of course, to see eye to eye with the radical V.P. Calvertoni, author of "The Bankruptcy of Marriage."
