The article presents information on several books and poems. In "Sullivan's Comic Operas," by Thomas F. Dunhillscore, the author emphasizes the individual importance of one of the two elements they are too wont to consider an inseparable welding of words and music. In "The Ballad of Reading Gaol," by Oscar Wilde, there can be little doubt that Oscar Wilde would have preferred the pictures of Lynd Ward to illustrate his poem. In "The Constitutionalist," by Richard D. Ware, the author has here reprinted a series of outspoken papers which he addressed to the editor of the Milford Cabinet in connection with his candidacy as a delegate to the recent Republican national convention.
