The article discusses several books. Titles and authors of some of those books are "A Roumanian Diary," by Hans Carossa, "The American Heresy," by Christopher Hollis, "Wolfe and North America," by F.E. Whitton, "Honey Holler," by Keith MacKaye, "The Anatomy of Musk," by Winthrop Parkhurst and "Stories of the Great Operas," by Ernest Newman. In the book titled "Wolfe and North America," the author first analyzes briefly causes of the struggle between France and England for North America and gives essential facts bearing upon the life and military training of soldier James Wolfe. Then he deals at some length with the Seven Years' War, in so far as Wolfe was concerned, with special reference to the general strategic situation around Quebec and to the particular strategy of Wolfe's campaign for the capture of that stronghold.
