The article presents information on various books. "Isabel," by Gerald Gould; "The Sonnets of Petrarch," translated by Joseph Auslander; "Love Rimes of Petrarch," translated by Morris Bishop; "The Samaritans of Molokai. The lives of Father Damien and Brother Dutton Among the Lepers," by Charles J. Dutton; "Home is the Sailor," by Ruth Blodgett; "The Square Root of Valentine," by Berry Fleming. Fleming's book is a moderately humorous fantasy about a clerk's search after "beauty" and "knowledge" in streets of New York. Some of it reminds one of Norman Douglas's "In the Beginning" some of it reminds the reader of any number of "escape" novels.
