The article gives information about various books. They are "Year in, You're Out," by Samuel Hoffenstein; "The Life and Letters of Joseph Pennell," by Elizabeth Robins Pennell; "The Women of Cairo," by Gerard de Nerval and "Gallipoli Memories," by Compton Doubleday. In "The Adventures of an Illustrator" Pennell described the most interesting of his experiences, and for the "Life and Letters" little was left but the general routine of his days.
