The article gives information about the books. They are "Fire for the Night," by Babette Deutsch; "Fifty Poems," by Lord Dunsany; "The Wind in the Cedars," by Glenn Ward Dresbach. If poetry is a skilful manipulation of words and meter, an ability to paint word pictures, if poetry is an easily composed and pleasantly read lyricism and very little else, then Babette Deutsch, Lord Dunsany, and Glenn Ward Dresbach are authentic poets. If, on the other hand, poetry is passionate realization of experience, if it is interpretative of contemporary scenes or of any milieu, if it is the sincere expression of emotion, then these are not authentic poets.
