The article presents news related to social and political actions in the U.S. during 1939. George Deatgerage, leader of the pro-fascist group Knights of the White Camellia and also promoter of the American Nationalist Confederation, hopes to make the latter the fascist party of the U.S. It is admitted in Washington that the State Department is jittery over the anticipated publication of a book by Claude Bowers, ex-ambassador to Spain. Movie exhibitors are becoming increasingly wrathful at Hollywood's issuance of remakes.
