In this article the author on the effect of British Budget on the U.S. stock exchange. Since the New York stock exchange Wall Street's present attitude is "lower taxes and less spending even though it chokes the country," it is hardly surprising that it has not stressed the relatively greater weight of British burdens. It is speculated that if the U.S. increase its public debt much more the economy will sink. Comparison between the U.S. and British economy is in order between the actual taxes paid by wealthy Americans and those which will be paid by wealthy Britons after the budget increase in surtax rates.
