In this article the author focuses on the political participation of the attorney for Farmers State Saving Banks, Thomas Edmund Dewey. Dewey is being considered for the presidential candidature by the Republican party. His complete lack of contact with the rank and file of party workers, his glaring unfamiliarity with the most elementary details of the spade work of politics on a national scale, his pompous and dictatorial manner, and his arrogant refusal to listen to advice make the wheel-horses restive when they think of last election.
