The article focuses on various issues in the U.S. including, industries, nationalism and social order. The first industry in importance, inventiveness, organization, and rewards, the automobile industry is America's finest utilization of the machine to produce the most useful of machines. In recent times, the condition of the labor in this industry and the issue of "automobile code," for manufacturers, have become major issues for discussion. The new trend towards nationalism in the U.S. is an alarming issue for many writers in the country. U.S. politician Alfred Smith's scheme for saving the nation reached its legislative phase on February 5 when the McCall-Dooley anti-nudism bill brought forward at the instigation of Smith and his Legion of Decency, was given a hearing at Albany, New York.
