The article focuses on the book entitled "The Grinding Mill. Reminiscences of War and Revolution in Russia (1913-1920)." the book is written by Prince A. Lobanov-Rostovsky. According to the author this book contains no new information, but it conveys successfully an atmosphere, and although this atmosphere of Soviet Union , war, and revolution is not unknown, the book will interest many readers because it is well written and full of life and movement. Of the real horrors of war and civil war little is to be found in the book.
