The article focuses on the book entitled "The National Recovery Administration." The book is written by Leverett S. Lyon, Paul T. Homan, George Terborgh, Lewis Lorwin, Charles Dearing, and Leon C. Marshall. According to the author the writers of this book could scarcely have foreseen that within a few weeks after the publication of their work the National Recovery Administration (NRA) would be of only academic interest in the U.S. Had the authors been forewarned of the early collapse of the NRA machinery, they would have doubtless altered the plan of their volume somewhat.
