The article gives information about the book "The Worst Journey in the World: Antartic, 1910-1913," by Apsley Cherry-Garrard. It would be impertinent for anyone to praise the bravery of this book, as it would be ridiculous to attempt even to suggest the richness of its content. It is the first American edition of a work which eight years ago gave the English public a more or less complete account of Scott's last expedition to the South Pole; and that it is one of the most interesting books. Cherry-Garrard has told a thousand times more things than one could mention.
