The article presents an overview of the book "Who's Who in America." There are 340 Smiths contained therein, not including the Smythes, Smyths, or Smithers. There is Bobby Jones, but not Babe Ruth, that Harold S. Vanderbilt, who lately distinguished himself by sailing the Enterprise to victory in the yacht races, writes himself down a capitalist and refrains from identifying himself in any way with amateur yachting, even to belonging to a yacht club. In all there are 29704 names in "Who's Who." Eighty percent of them went to college.
