The article presents anecdotes. Locmariaquer lies on the Breton coast, France. And Locmariaquer is such a small village that the explorer, the Drifter still wonders how he came to find it, though now that he thinks of it he does remember how he got there. He bicycled one morning into the cobbled streets of Auray. It was a very sunny morning and the Drifter was filled with thoughts of how the sea would be on such a day as this. So he went to the desk of one of Auray's hotels and asked to be directed to some small quiet place down the coast. The answer was immediate and firm: Locrnariaquer. The Drifter liked the sound. It was a good beginning for a song. It was only eight or ten kilometers away. He would go there after lunch.
