This article presents information about plays that are being staged in New York theaters. "The Time of Your Life," a play by William Saroyan, produced at the Booth Theater by Eddie Dowling and the Theater Guild, ought to add considerably to the circle of its admirers. It has been given what looks like a realistic setting as well as the outward form of conventional drama. Mr. Saroyan has undoubtedly been denounced as an "escapist." "Too May Girls" (Imperial Theater) is certainly not inspiringly named but it turns out to be a first-rate musical comedy staged in a very lively fashion by George Abbott. If the hearty rather than the anemic school, it is full of fast dancing and noisy music but it manages to be food fun.
