This article presents information on two books on science. These books are "The Universe of Science," by H.L. Levy and "Science and the Changing World," edited by Mary Adams. Levy's "The Universe of Science," and his contribution to "Science and the Changing World," represent an important achievement, not only because they contain a brilliant exposition of scientific methodology, but because they indirectly illumine the larger problem of the relationship between the general crisis in culture and what is called the crisis in science.
