The article presents information related to socio-political issues of the world. The League of Nations' statesmen will have plenty to talk about at their forthcoming meeting notwithstanding that the meeting of the Council, which precedes that of the Assembly, was postponed for a few days in the hope that more items might be placed on the agenda. The report of the League of Nations Mandates Commission upon British responsibility for the Palestine riots of 1929 has drawn a sharp reply from Arthur Henderson as British Foreign Secretary.
