The article presents information on two theatrical productions, "Overture" and "This Is New York." The former is referred to as a one man's play and is considered as one of the great dramatic works. Elements of true greatness are to be observed in "Overture," although it is simple enough to point out flaws. The latter concerns a South Dakota Senator who represents the national prejudices against the metropolis, but who finds himself publicly involved with racketeers and kept women through the indiscretions of his daughter.
