The article discusses the book "The Life and Times of Marc Antony," by Arthur Weigall. Weigall knows his material so well, and obviously is himself so interested in it, that it is unnecessary for him to use tricks to interest his readers. He has become one of the most popular of modern historians without committing any of the misdemeanors of the vulgarizer. "The Life and Times of Marc Antony" is so much a history of the times that Cicero receives almost as much space as Antony, and as they enter the record, the Gracchi, Marius, Sulla, Caesar, Pompey, Brutus, Cato the younger, Octavian and Cleopatra are discussed with the same weight of detail.
