The article presents information about several books. One of the books discussed is Revolt in the Arts, written by Oliver M. Sayler. Of the two almost equal parts that make up this book, one, the work of Mr. Sayler, gives a general idea of the subject, and the other represents a symposium by a number of authorities dealing with their respective arts. Another book under discussion is Francis Dana, written by W.P. Cresson. In this somewhat discursive biography by Mr. Cresson, who has himself been a diplomat, it is the Russian mission which looms largest.
