This article presents information on various persons who have contributed to the journal "The Nation," during 1931. Albert Einstein, the greatest of living scientists, is also the foremost conscientious objector to war. Devere Allen is the editor of the journal "World Tomorrow." Robert Dell has for many years been a contributor to "The Nation," and the journal "Manchester Guardian." Herbert Abel is on the staff of the American Civil Liberties Union. H.L. Mencken is the editor of the journal "American Mercury," and a contributing editor of "The Nation."
