his article presents information on authors who have contributed to the September 19, 1934 issue of the journal "The Nation." Robert Dell is the Geneva correspondent of the "Manchester Guardian." Edith Smith is the pseudonym of a Chicago school teacher. H.L. Mencken, formerly the editor of the "American Mercury," is working on a revised edition of his well-known book "The American Language." Philip Blair Rice has contributed reviews and critical articles to "The Nation" and the "Symposium." Agnes Smedley is the author of "Chinese Destinies" and "China's Red Army Marches."
