This article presents information on several books. The book "Canada, Today and Tomorrow," is written by William Henry Chamberlin and the book "The Unguarded Frontier: A History of American-Canadian Relations," by Edgar W. McInnis. Canada's drastic system of economic controls and anti-inflation measures has brought it more and more into the American spotlight in the past few months. Even the foreign correspondents, who have up to now neglected this mine of good copy, have begun to sit up and take notice. Canada is no subject for hit-and-run journalists, it is a country of infinite and deep-seated complexities. It is a country's with a stomach full of seventeenth-century France, in the form of the province of Quebec.
