The article presents information on the book "Psychiatry for the Curious," by George H. Preston. According to the author, Preston is a psychiatrist with a sense of humor. Preston has a talent for clever line drawings and with them he illustrates a simple, clear, informal text, which in 148 pages gives a very adequate introduction to the subject of psychiatry. The author states in the first line that "Psychiatry suffers from words," but he proves in the next 147 pages that not all psychiatrists are so afflicted.
