The article discusses the book "The Voyage," by Charles Morgan. According to the author, the setting of Morgan's new story is more mature and thought provoking than his previous book "The Fountain." The book, "The Voyage" is set in France in years following the Franco-Prussian War. In this story, Morgan makes prominent use of a prison, though this time his hero keeps the prison instead of being incarcerated, in order to stress a point to which a certain trite quotation about stone walls and iron bars scarcely does justice.
