The article discusses world politics. It states that dimensions of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt's third victory are not fully established. It is apparent, however, that while the President has fallen short of the 10,797,090 plurality which gave him 62 per cent of the popular vote in 1936, he has won an astounding triumph. He has stood political experts on their heads by recouping in unprecedented fashion losses of a midterm election while carrying for the first time in American history the burden of the third-term bugaboo. The French people are still waiting to know to what bargain with Germany their government is committing them.
