The article focuses on books "I Built a Temple for Peace." The Life of Eduard Benes," by Edward B. Hitchcock, "Hitler And I," by Otto Strasser and "Nemesis," by Douglas Reed. Most books about the European scene written before the collapse of France are, to say the least, out of date. But there are a few which have survived the cruel test of reality, and "I Built a Temple for Peace," the first complete biography of Eduard Benes, head of the Czechoslovak government in exile, is one of them. There is enough excitement in Otto Strasser's "Hitler and I." The book reads almost like pulp fiction, partly because it deals with Adolf Hitler, partly because its level is not much above Hitler.
