This article focuses on the foreign relations between India and Pakistan. Both India and Pakistan have rejected the resolution on Kashmir adopted by the United Nations Security Council, though neither will refuse to cooperate with the five-member commission of the United Nations when it visits Kashmir. Pakistan's delegate at Lake Success brought more charges against India, including that of genocide and nothing will shake India's conviction that the Security Council failed to do it justice. Kashmir's strategic position is of such vital importance that India would have been justified in receiving it into the Indian federation without further ado.
