The article focuses on war refugees from Europe. During the war refugees from Europe were sort of professionals. Victims of racial or political persecution, experts on the Nazi mind, they were in general agreement with the American environment, facing the same enemy. The downfall of Nazi Germany and the return of peace to Europe have changed this situation. When peace comes, the refugees remember that they were individuals with a past and tastes of a special color which for the most part are rooted in the old country.
