The article focuses on news related to various issues. Powerful impetus to a more rapid settlement of outstanding Palestine problems has been given by the United Nations through its action on Arab refugees and developments on the Jerusalem question. This progress is due to the fact that for the first time the focus of big-power maneuvers is not Israeli concessions to the Arab states but Arab concessions to reality. The reference to Palestine refugees in the title of the new agency and the reiteration of the right of Arabs to return to their former homes, both at the insistence of the Arab states, are face-saving devices.
