The article focuses on the book "America's Health." Health is not merely the doctor's business. Health is everybody's business. This was the keynote of the U.S. National Health Assembly, a gathering of 800 persons called together last year by the Federal Security Administrator. All sorts of people were there — physicians and labor men, public-health officers and farmers, dentists and sociologists, psychiatrists and sanitarians. Their proceedings are reported in this volume. Never was there better illustration of the ramified specialisms, which spiderweb a field of universal human interest.
