The article presents comments of various political activists on issues related to war and the U.S. politics. It is said that war is not murder of a civilian enemy population. The first objective of war is peace. The second and immediate objective is to conquer the people, impose high strategy on their political ideas, use their industrial installations for the government's purposes and make the conquered enemy work for the country. Citizens protest that one has to be a Democrat or Republican or one cannot vote in the city elections, which is going to be held on November 8, 1949.
