The article present in formation on musical recordings. Among the poor recordings issued on standard records by Columbia in the past eight or nine years the most heart-breaking have been those of the performances of the Budapest Quartet. RCA Victor Budapest Quartet recordings and are not flawless, most of them sound cleat, bright, and natural in other words without the falsifying distortion, harshness, dullness, and other major defects of the old standard shellac dubbings from the same masters. In addition to that, the article presents information on some orchestras.
