This article focuses on various political developments around the world after second world war. The Soviet government had made a demand to the United Nations security council to control Berlin's air traffic. According to the author, President of the United States, Harry S. Truman's slashing campaign is evidently based on the well-founded theory that his only chance is to get people excited enough about the election to come out and vote. That strategy is sound, since experience proves that a light vote favors the Republicans, members of the Republican party, a political party of the United States.
