The article presents information send by readers, either clippings with source and date, or stories that can be clearly authenticated. It states that the murder of a war worker who had recently been involved in a felonious-assault case and because of that had lost his job was reported in the New York periodical "World-Telegram" of October 19. The man's nickname, according to the story, was Red. But the headline said: "Aircraft Plant Fired Astoria Welder, Known as a Red." A recent issue of the periodical "Wall Street Journal" reported lengths to which employers of domestic help have gone in trying to keep their servants.
