The article focuses on a six-point agreement between U.S. and Mexico. U.S. ambassador to Mexico Joseph Daniel wanted to see peace made between U.S. and Mexico over expropriations before he retired. No ambassador from U.S. had ever won the same affection from the Mexican people as. His influence was steadily exerted against the oil companies and in favor of Mexico. This agreement is important to the defense of the U.S. It will give Mexico funds to complete the inter-American system of highways from California to Mexico City and from Mexico City to the Guatemalan border.
