The article focuses on the conflict arising at the United Nations regarding colonization. In June, 1951 a proposal to call a special session of the Assembly to consider the Tunisian question was defeated in the Security Council, but the Arab-Asian bloc is still trying to round up enough votes to put Tunisia on the agenda of the current session of the Assembly. For thirty years Tanganyika, largest of the eleven non-self-governing territories, has been under international supervision. Taken from the Germans in World War I, it was turned over to Great Britain by the League of Nations.
