The article focuses on the Palestine issue as it has been rumored that the recent session of the United Nations' Palestine Committee had been called off. The rhetoric and recriminations which have come to be regarded as a necessary part of the plenary sessions have been carried over into the committees. The acting head of the Arab League recently threatened to drench the "Holy Land" in blood if the majority report of the Palestine investigating committee was adopted by the Assembly. In the sessions of the Political Committee, the Slavic group, eloquent in their denunciations of Greek fascism and American and British imperialism, refused to admit the validity of a General Assembly committee as one means, of helping settle the Balkan dispute.
