This article reports on the end of the tenure of Chicago, Illinois mayor Edward J. Kelly and the nomination of business man and civic leader, Martin H. Kennelly, who as a director of the Chicago Crime Commission has long been an active enemy of the Kelly administration. Kennelly is president of Werner Brothers-Kennelly Co., A warehouse Kennelly is president of Werner Brothers-Kennelly Co. a warehouse organization, and of Allied Vans, and is ,a director of Wilson and Co. the meat packers. He has never been identified with liberal causes, but liberals and independents have rallied to his support.
