The article presents news related to world politics. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) adopted a charter which has already been signed by more than thirty nations, elected officers, and began discussions of its monumental task. FAO will collect and distribute information regarding nutrition, food, and agriculture, provide on request technical assistance to member governments, and prepare and recommend to the appropriate authorities positive measures to improve the production and distribution of food and other farm products.
