The article presents some information about Soviet Union. It is said that last summer social scientists W.L. White and Eric Johnston visited Soviet Union and White described his six weeks' trip in "Report on the Russians." White saw, understood and recorded a great deal. He did not speak the language and knew little about Soviet Union. White went to Soviet Union admiring free enterprise and hating suppression of freedom. White found plenty of the latter in the country; and it deeply repelled him. White's observations on this score are amazingly shrewd and correct for a foreigner. They could have been even more impressive had he not lost his sense of proportion and dwelt on the negative.
