The article presents information related to political issues in the U.S. J.A. Krug has been appointed as secretary of the Department of the Interior. Mr. Krug has an unblemished personal reputation, he is able and energetic. The government has refused a visitor's visa to Tom Wintringham, the distinguished British writer on politics and military affairs. It is clear that Departments of State and Justice regard Mr. Wintringham as undesirable because he was once a member of the British Communist Party and fought in Spain as commander of the British battalion of the International Brigade.
