Presents letters to the editor referencing the review of C. Wright Mills's book "The Power Elite," discussed in the previous issue of the journal. Conviction with the article that the elite groups in the country can be used as a measuring rod of power action as they represent a cross section of national civic life; Conclusion for need to return to a more full-bodied approach to the problem of organized power in the society than elite theory provides; Misfortunes of scholarship is that the main center of power is completely shielded form inspection.
