The article present news briefs as of February 1956 from Alabama. The city of Alabama was shaken by riots at the University of Alabama, two Negro homes were bombed and there was a bus boycott. The Montgomery city commission had recently joined the Citizens Council as part of a "get tough" drive against boycotters. The commission was on hand to greet the crowd, pledging 100 percent support. As Governor James K. Folsom said in connection with the university riots that some people in Alabama may oppose the Supreme Court decision and some favor it.
